Phil and Ann Foley
Set up Fayre Do's in 1994, both having worked in catering since 1973. Ann eventually went on to open her own restaurant in Dulwich whilst Phil went into wine bar management with Davy’s of London who sponsored his education at the International Wine & Spirit Institute from where he emerged with various certificates.
Since those happy days business has developed and we are now recognized as a leader in Location Catering .
Whilst Ann and Phil are now more involved with the administration and day-to-day running of the company, our experienced team on the “front line” are taking us to new horizons.
Hailu Asfaw
Or “H” as he is more commonly known, is our Head Chef and is dedicated to the location side of the business.
Having started with us in 2000 “H” has been in the business for some 15 years, working on premier feature films such as Star Wars, Phantom of the Opera and Neverlands, cooking for lots of celebrities and dealing with their sometimes demanding whims !
Jamie Cook
New to the team, has worked as a chef in motor sport, from Formula One to Ford World Rally Team. Having travelled the world he is well-versed in the logistics of catering .
Trained at Westminster College, then moved to a restaurant in London, working for Marco Pierre White for just under two years and then moved on to outside catering .
We also have other chefs who work for us on a freelance basis as and when we take on a contract. They have worked with us for some years now so we are quite confident with our team .
In 2004 we are looking to expand our operations and will be investing in new kitchens and equipment to enable us to take on bigger events and broaden our customer base. Productions already in the pipeline include a “fly on the wall” series for Endemol Films, one of Europe’s fastest-growing T.V production companies and on-going work on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s film Phantom of the Opera.
